Role Overview: This position will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company – planning, budgeting, analysis, forecasting, reporting, etc – to drive financial performance, capital efficiency, and long-term growth. They will also work directly with the leadership on multiple fronts.

Responsibilities: • 
Financial Management: Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts. Ensure accurate & timely processing of all financial transaction, month end books closure & accrual accounting. • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly MIS along with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards company policies. • Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external parties as necessary. • Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow, working capital and liquidity to ensure company’s financial stability and identify ways to optimize it. • Marketplace Reconciliations: Accurate preparation of reconciliations for both expenses & revenue to ensure correct accounting & book keeping. • Due Diligence & Audit: Work with the leadership on fundraising efforts including preparing financial projections and various financial reports for fundraising, managing runway, creating investor reports, and handling external auditors by providing timely & accurate data to complete the statutory & internal audit within the stipulated timelines. • Cost Management: Analyze and manage costs to ensure capital efficiency. Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement and provide financial insights to operational efficiency. • Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks. Ensure adequate controls are in place to safeguard company assets. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support business operations and drive financial performance.  

Experience: • 5+ years of experience in similar role, including experience at an early to mid-stage start up (B2B &B2C brand experience preferred)

 • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA Finance /CA preferred). Technical Skills:
 • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
 • Excellent understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles and financial controls.
 • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,  Tally).
 . • Familiarity with inventory management and payment gateways (e.g., Payu, Fastr, ). Personal Attributes
